Privacy & Data Use Policy

This Privacy and Data Use Policy describes how American Dream Network, LLC ("ADN", "American Dream Network", "we", "us", or "our") collects, uses, shares, and otherwise processes information in connection with your access to and use of services provided by ADN and our website located at americandreamnetwork.us and related applications (collectively, the "Site"), including any related content, features, services, or tools (collectively, the "Services"). Creating an account by email or by continuing with Google is agreement to this Privacy Policy and our Terms of Service. We record the time of that agreement and the document version on your profile. Guest browsing of public pages does not create an account.

We collect information you provide directly, information we obtain automatically when you use the Services, and information from third parties. This may include identifiers and contact details (e.g., name, email, address, phone), account credentials, Google account identifiers if you continue with Google sign-in, profile and artwork or project listing details, transaction and payment information, communications and support inquiries, user-generated content, device and usage data, bot-challenge tokens from Cloudflare Turnstile on sign-in and related forms, and verification/KYC information where required by us or our payment processors. We do NOT store payment card numbers, bank account numbers, or full Stripe Connect account details on ADN servers — Stripe is our payment processor and those details live with them, governed by Stripe's own privacy policy.

We may use your information for purposes including: providing, operating, and securing the Services; facilitating listings, sales, purchases, payments, payouts, shipping, and dispute handling; detecting, preventing, and addressing fraud, abuse, and security incidents; complying with law, card network and processor rules, and reporting obligations; sending transactional email; sending optional marketing email if you have not unsubscribed; analytics via Plausible; and error reporting via Sentry.

We send transactional email about your account, purchases, sales, shipping, security, and similar service events. Optional marketing email (including a nurture sequence) may be sent; you may unsubscribe using the link in those messages or by changing notification preferences in account settings. We do not send SMS. We do not sell, share, or rent your phone number or other personal information to third parties for their own marketing purposes.

We share information as needed to achieve the purposes described above, including with: service providers and vendors (currently including hosting, email delivery via Resend, analytics via Plausible, error reporting via Sentry, bot challenges via Cloudflare Turnstile, and session infrastructure via Supabase); payment processors (currently including Stripe and its affiliates, and Whop when that billing path is enabled) for payment, payout, chargeback, and risk operations; other users to facilitate transactions and communications between Buyers and Artists (or between Clients and Producers); and law enforcement, regulators, and courts as required. We do not sell your personal information to third parties for their own marketing purposes.

We use cookies, local storage, and similar technologies as follows. Session and authentication cookies are set by us and by Supabase so you can stay signed in. Stripe.js loads on checkout to process payments and may set cookies required to complete a card transaction. Cloudflare Turnstile runs on sign-in, sign-up, and password-reset forms to distinguish people from automated traffic. Plausible provides privacy-oriented analytics (page views and events) and does not use advertising cookies. Sentry records application errors so we can repair faults; it may capture device and request metadata related to the error. We do not currently use Google Analytics, advertising pixels, or a marketing-automation cookie. You can manage certain cookie preferences through your browser or device settings, though disabling cookies may affect sign-in and checkout.

We may process and store information in the United States and other countries, which may have different data protection laws than your place of residence. By using the Services, you consent to the transfer of your information to and from the U.S. and other jurisdictions for the purposes described in this section.

We retain information for as long as necessary to provide the Services, comply with our legal, regulatory, tax, and accounting obligations, resolve disputes, enforce our agreements, protect our rights, manage risk (including chargeback exposure and reserves), and for other legitimate business purposes. Actual retention periods may vary based on the nature of the data and our obligations.

You can exercise choices over your information by: managing account information and notification preferences through your account settings; opting out of marketing emails by using the unsubscribe link or account settings; deleting your account in account settings (immediate, after the confirmation phrase); and submitting a data-deletion request at /data-deletion. A data-deletion form submission is stored as a request with a thirty-day scheduled-completion date; it does not itself delete the account. We may deny or limit requests to the extent permitted by law.

We implement safeguards that are designed to protect information, but no method of transmission or storage is completely secure. Your use of the Services is at your own risk, and the disclaimers and limitations of liability in our Terms of Service apply to this Privacy Policy to the extent permitted by law.

The Services are not directed to children or other users under the age of 18, and we do not knowingly collect personal information from children or other users under the age of 18. If we learn that a person under 18 has provided us with information, we will take steps to delete such information where required by law.

We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time by posting a new version on this page, identified by the "Last Updated" date. When the document version changes, we require a signed-in account to agree again before continuing to use signed-in Services. If you do not agree with an updated version, you may delete your account.
