what's covered
Every purchase on [SHOP] comes with a written guarantee. We built ADN as a curated marketplace where every artist is hand-vetted before they can list — but we still back you up when something goes wrong in transit.
3-day damage window
You have 3 calendar days from the carrier-confirmed delivery date to report damage in transit or items that arrive materially different from the listing. Email hello@americandreamnetwork.us with photos showing the issue and your order number.
We review evidence within 1 business day. If the claim qualifies, you get a full refund (item + shipping).
Note: artists are paid out as soon as the carrier confirms delivery — there is no 3-day hold on artist payouts. Damage claims within the 3-day window are resolved via refund on ADN's side; we don't punish artists for issues that occurred in transit beyond their control.
1-year authenticity guarantee
If you ever have a documented concern about the authenticity of a piece you bought through [SHOP] — within 1 year of purchase — we'll investigate. Every artist on the platform has passed manual review of their portfolio, references, and studio, so authenticity disputes are rare by design. When they do happen, we mediate directly with the artist and refund you in full if the work doesn't match.
what's NOT covered
- Buyer's remorse — "I changed my mind" doesn't qualify. All [SHOP] sales are final unless covered by the damage, authenticity, or non-delivery clauses on this page.
- Damage caused after delivery confirmation.
- Color / texture variation in handmade work that's inherent to the medium and reasonably depicted in the listing photos.
- Items lost or damaged due to incorrect shipping address you provided at checkout.
how mediation works
- You report the issue with photos within 3 days of delivery.
- We open a dispute and notify the artist. The artist's pending payout is held during review.
- We review evidence within 1 business day and decide: refund (full or partial), replacement, or close the dispute.
- Refunds return to your original payment method within 5–10 business days, depending on your card issuer.
Our decisions are made by a human reviewer, not an algorithm. If you disagree with the outcome, reply to the mediation email and we'll re-examine the case once with fresh eyes.
non-delivery
The artist has 10 days from sale to ship. If they don't add tracking by then, your order is automatically refunded in full. If they ship but the carrier loses the package, the artist's shipping insurance (or ADN, at our discretion) makes you whole.
chargebacks
We'd rather hear from you directly than from your card issuer — we resolve disputes faster than chargeback processes (which take 30–90 days). If you do file a chargeback, your ADN account is paused until it resolves. You can email us to lift the pause at any time.
